The “Worlds” of the Bible
Much of James B. Jordan's book Through New Eyes concerns the overall sweep of biblical history and typology. He identifies and defines several periods of redemptive history in a way that I have found very helpful since I was first exposed to it a few years ago. This kind of information is extremely helpful in chart form, but alas, I've not seen any such chart of his work elsewhere, and in the book itself he only provides a chart for each stage of history. So, for the benefit of all, I've outlined Jordan's breakdown of the key components of each stage of biblical history into a single table. Enjoy:
